Pigtails and Crewcuts

Anna got her first haircut! It is weird to have to take Anna for a haircut since Bella did not have her first haircut until after the age of 2. I could probably say even now, Anna has more hair than Bella. Whatever Bella may lack in hairstyle, she makes up for it in personality! Short hair or no hair they are beautiful little girls:)!

Anna did really well. She did fall forward once and hit her head on the metal steering wheel. She was too small for the seat belt to really hold her stable....should have kept my mother's intuition that would happen. She recovered well and the stylist finished up fast.

All done.

To Bella, it's not about the haircut, it's about the fun playroom.

Styling now!

Friday Family Fun

We spent more family time at Aunt Nichole and Uncle Jeremy's house the following week after the 4th. Cousin Chris was still in town and we wanted to all visit again before he would be leaving to visit more of his family in Ohio and Texas and then return to Korea.
Anna can always track down a baby doll.
Jordan and Bella playing dress up. Jordan is Bible Man and Bella is a Doctor.

It's Rock Band time!

The 4Th

We celebrated July 4Th this year at The Coles. Jason's brother, Jeremy, continued the tradition with his awesome fireworks display. However, Bella did not have ears for it this year. It is amazing how she did a complete 180 in her interest and fear from last year. Getting older does not necessarily make you braver, at least when you go from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2. She is smarter and more aware though.

Showing some of that fear.

Getting more comfortable
Was a great time. Missed seeing the fireworks, since we ended up inside with Bella and Anna, but wouldn't change a thing. Bella sat and rocked with Grandma and we all(Jason,me, Anna, and great Grandma) enjoyed a VeggieTale DVD.

Yellow River Game Ranch

We got to enjoy lots of family time over July 4th weekend. We had the privilege of spending time with Jason's cousin, who has been in Korea for almost two years. Plus, family from New Orleans came into town too.

Saturday AM we all went to Yellow River Game Ranch.
Bella spotting something. Deer?, rabbit?, squirrels?. They are all so friendly.

The bears were liking our graham crackers. Catching them opened mouth.

At the Zoo again

Back at the Zoo. Excited to see that the elephants were out. These guys seem to always be somewhere else instead of in our viewing, but we got to see our elephant friends this time.

These two fellows were too cute resting together.

Petting Zoo...a must...second to the playground.

A wrap up on the day at the playground.

Moving up to big girl play.

Father's Day

Not much different from most nights, but snapped up the photo to keep the memory of this past Father's Day. The girls loving on their daddy and daddy loving every minute.

Cheers to 30!

Turning 30 was a whole lot better than turning 29! I did not care what I did, I was just excited to be healthy and at home. Spent a relaxing day at home. Jason worked from home and skipped out early. Went out to dinner and watched a movie back at home. Great day and even a party to come.

Mommy's choice. Olive Garden

Bread sticks. This girl can eat. You wouldn't know it by looking at her.

Toasting to 30 with some sparkling grape juice and enjoying the movie Leap Year.

Jason wanted to throw me a 30th b-day party. No surprises though! We had friends and family over. Jason worked so hard making a wonderful mexican feast! A big thanks to his mom too! Lots of enchiladas, tacos, and plenty of sides. I was surprised with a delicious carrot cake(my favorite). I was well aware of the slide show Jason was making, however, it was a sweet surprise to view it at the party. Pictures of me for the past 30 years, even side by side comparisons of me and the girls.
As you can see, it was a kid friendly party.

Blowing out the candles with my little helper.
Bella is all into birthday parties now. She is currently in bed as I am blogging and has been singing happy birthday to her stuffed animals. She will tell you who's birthday it is...very cute and fun, but of course another stall to falling asleep!
It is a lot easier joining the 30th club having a wonderful husband and two beautiful little girls!

June 8th

Anna's actual birthday. Jason had to go out of town for work, but we had a little celebration that morning.
Anna's new wagon ride. The girls both love it. Note...Anna likes to have her blanky in her mouth.

Her new stuffed animal turtle. I think she likes it!
.
Putting the new ride to the test.

Happy Birthday Anna!

Happy Birthday to our dear sweet Anna and congrats to us for making it through a blessed and challenging year.
We had family over to celebrate and brought out all the fun water stuff. Anna had a happy day!

Miss Flexible. The birthday girl!

Covered in gifts. Having fun.

Tried a photo cake...cute but disappointed in the non girly colors with the icing.

Look at me. "I'm One"

Tasting the lovely soy cake I made since she had a questionable milk allergy. Can't blame her for not digging in.
