Last Day with the Two's

Bella turned 3 within a few weeks after starting 2 year preschool for 2 days a week. So even though she was three for almost the whole time, on May 19th it was her last day of 2 year preschool. I can honestly say Bella loved school from day one and it has been a blast for her.

This was the first day of school back in September

Last day of school. Love seeing all the changes but she sure is growing too fast.

Anna ready to participate in the last day festivities too.

They had a short diploma ceremony where each kid was called up to get a cute little construction paper teddy bear certificate of achievement for completing the year.

Bella proud of her certificate...what a wonderful year of sweet first time preschool memories...now onto the 3's

and onto the BEACH...

no better way to start summer vacation than heading right to the beach!

Future Artist

Back in May, Bella brought me a drawing she had done. She described the picture as some sailboats floating on waves in the water.

Since then, it has been fun seeing her imagination at work and all her drawings. It is a lovely surprise as she hides them behind her back and brings it around saying "Tada".

North Metro Spring Musical

We have got the privilege and enjoyment of watching our little shouter sing twice at her preschool. It is hard to put into words just how sweet it is to see all the children singing. It goes without saying that it is funny and entertaining, but it is so heart warming too.

Bella is the 4Th over from her teacher Mrs. Dody(top row/left). With a few reminders of what not to do from mom and dad ahead of time, Bella did absolutely wonderful. Even now over 2 months later, "Puppies puppies everywhere" is a favorite song(one of the several songs sung). Even Anna captures the tune and chimes in at home.

After the show, we got to head back to the classroom that was filled with special artwork the teacher had saved instead of sending home. Here are The Ten Commandments.

The Turtle Pond...Be swift to hear, Slow to speak, Slow to wrath. James1:19

Inside the classroom. Loved all the artwork. Definitely all keepers and so special.

So proud of Bella. Was a great time. She loves school and singing! Special thanks to Aunt Nichole for watching Anna so we could focus in on Big Sister.

Bug Bites and Sprinklers...summer is almost here

As I am catching up on my blog, it is hard to believe how fast these days are going by. We were anxiously waiting for summer and now it is close to the end of July already!

We found out last summer that Bella's body does not respond well to mosquito bites but we got another big reminder before the best of those summer days approached this year.

Swollen, red, hot to touch, and "it hurts". All is better now and we happily have had no more reactions, as we take a proactive approach with a little Zyrtec a day to keep those crazy bug bites away.

First sprinkler set up of the year. Bella loving it.

This was a thrill to see since last summer her feet never touched the ground. Happy to watch her running and smiling.

Figuring out the best way to go about this

Two happy wet girls. Think I can keep this on the list of things to do this summer.
