Elmo Live

We took Bella to see Elmo Live at Philips Arena in September. We went last year too and what a difference a year makes! Bella did so much better and watched the whole show. She sat in my lap the whole time, but was sitting still and loved the show. Jason and I had a "been there done that" moment, as a couple in front of us had a little girl that continuously cried after the show started and they had to get up and leave. Wish we were able to reassure them to try again next year.

Bella wanted cotton candy...guess she liked the name of it more than how it looked. Once we got it she refused to try it. She has been a tough one to try new things...even cotton candy.

The show was the highlight but the ride home was quite an experience. Jason was driving the car in the HOV lane of I-85 when suddenly we heard an explosion and my window on the passenger side looked like the picture below. We pulled off the interstate and Jason had to get all the glass off the window and in the car. Glass was everywhere!!! Bella did so good. She listened and closed her eyes to protect them from the glass until we could get out of the car. Praise God we were all fine! Unfortunately, we are still clueless as to why it happened.

Safe and sound back at Aunt Jennifer's house to pick up Anna.
