Cupcakes for Bella D

Hard to believe my baby girl has turned 3. We kicked off the celebration first at preschool on October 7th. There are two Bellas in her class, so our Bella is referred to as Bella D. Anna and I brought cupcakes to her class during snack time.

Anna got to sit right next to her big sister and Bella's new friend Catherine.

Everyone lined up to go outside after cupcakes.

Anna stayed and played too.
My sweet soon to be 3 year old.

FAAN Walk

We participated in the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis walk this past October. Anna was diagnosed shortly before the walk with a milk allergy. We had always suspected an allergy since she vomited with cheese and yogurt but she also began to have hives after drinking milk. A skin test proved the positive results and an allergist gave us an epi pen. It has been interesting figuring out what to give her and what not to but for now we are staying away from anything that contains milk. Hoping that she will out grow it when she is rechecked soon.

Bella and Anna's cousin, Jackson, is severely allergic to nuts so we were there supporting Jack's Pack too.
We had lots of fun doing the walk, getting free goodies and info, playing on the playground, and doing lunch afterwards at the Piccadilly.

Elmo Live

We took Bella to see Elmo Live at Philips Arena in September. We went last year too and what a difference a year makes! Bella did so much better and watched the whole show. She sat in my lap the whole time, but was sitting still and loved the show. Jason and I had a "been there done that" moment, as a couple in front of us had a little girl that continuously cried after the show started and they had to get up and leave. Wish we were able to reassure them to try again next year.

Bella wanted cotton candy...guess she liked the name of it more than how it looked. Once we got it she refused to try it. She has been a tough one to try new things...even cotton candy.

The show was the highlight but the ride home was quite an experience. Jason was driving the car in the HOV lane of I-85 when suddenly we heard an explosion and my window on the passenger side looked like the picture below. We pulled off the interstate and Jason had to get all the glass off the window and in the car. Glass was everywhere!!! Bella did so good. She listened and closed her eyes to protect them from the glass until we could get out of the car. Praise God we were all fine! Unfortunately, we are still clueless as to why it happened.

Safe and sound back at Aunt Jennifer's house to pick up Anna.

Celebrating 6 Years

09/11/2010 Jason and I celebrated 6 years of marriage.
Here we are posing for a picture taken by Jason's mom. So thankful she came and watched the girls as we snuck out for a lovely dinner at the Atlanta Fish Market.

It was our first time ever eating at Atlanta Fish Market. We had great food! We both wanted to continue the celebration by ordering a dessert. However, we did not realize that the restaurant would be providing a sweet anniversary dessert.
We definitely must have looked like we had huge appetites to our waiter as he brought us 3 dessert plates!
